Shelby County Fire Fighters Association recently conducted Farm Rescue Training, utilizing a large square baler, tractor, combine and head provided by Koenig Equipment for the event. Training encompassed various farm rescue scenarios, including grain rescue, lagoon, anhydrous, and silage. Over 70 firefighters and EMS personnel from Shelby County attended the event.
Several Koenig Equipment team members from the Anna store participated in the training. Chad Huelskamp, Ben Brown, and Jeff Holthaus provided instruction on the agricultural equipment, while Kettlersville/Van Buren Township firefighters Brandon Maurer and Matt Poppe also attended for training purposes.
Koenig Equipment appreciates the opportunity to sponsor this community event, and reminds everyone to always make safety the highest priority around the farm.
