I purchased a John Deere X 530 in February 2011, and have taken it in twice for service. The last time, they replaced the seat that had cracked close to the top back seat frame. While it was still under warranty, seat replacement is "iffy" because careless use by the operator can cause the fabric to split. They replaced the seat without question. In my case, the seat fabric simply did not hold up. I am very impressed with the service given me by the Urbana store.
