Precision Farming Equipment

John Deere Precision Ag Equipment

John Deere precision ag equipment puts guidance, application control and field data to work on the machines you already run. Receivers and AutoTrac guidance cut skips and overlap, displays and section control place inputs where they belong, and JDLink and Operations Center keep machine and field data in one place.

Koenig Equipment sells, installs and supports John Deere precision technology across Ohio and Indiana. Our Optimization Specialists help with setup, training and ongoing support so the technology pays off in the field.

John Deere Precision Ag FAQs

Can I add precision ag technology to an older tractor?
Yes. AutoTrac Universal 300 and the AutoTrac Controller 300 steering kit add guidance to machines without factory-installed AutoTrac, from utility tractors to articulated four-wheel drives. JDLink modems connect machines regardless of brand or age.

How accurate is the StarFire 7500 receiver?
With SF-RTK, the StarFire 7500 gives 2.5 cm pass-to-pass accuracy and up to 73% faster pull-in times compared to the SF3 signal. It is a drop-in replacement for the StarFire 6000.

What is the difference between the G5 and G5 Plus displays?
The G5 Universal Display has a 10.1 inch touchscreen. The G5 Plus Universal Display steps up to a 12.8 inch touchscreen and comes standard with a permanent AutoTrac and Section Control license. Both have 1080p HD resolution.

What does JDLink do?
A JDLink modem streams machine and field data to your John Deere Operations Center account, including location, fuel level and idle time, and enables remote support from your dealer.

Do I need a subscription for RTK accuracy?
The RTK Radio 450 and 900 require an RTK subscription from your John Deere dealer or your own base station, along with a StarFire 6000 receiver and the matching activations. Ask our team which correction option fits your farm.
