What is John Deere AutoTrac™?
John Deere AutoTrac™ is an assisted steering system available for equipment through a display, StarFire™ receiver, and the AutoTrac™ Activation. AutoTrac™ helps operators increase both accuracy and efficiency in the field. Operators utilize AutoTrac™ for steering guidance along tramlines to minimize overlap and help maximize input efficiency.
How did John Deere include AutoTrac™ in the 2023 Gator lineup?
The 2023 lineup of John Deere Gators™ includes some full-size models that are AutoTrac™ Ready. The models with AutoTrac™ Ready options are 835/865 cab Gators™. This includes XUV835M HVAC, XUV835R, XUV835R Signature Edition, XUV865M HVAC, XUV865R, and XUV865R Signature Edition. AutoTrac™ Ready John Deere Gators™ will come from the factory equipped with the wiring harness and brackets for John Deere displays and StarFire™ receivers. Customers can add a 4640 Universal Display and StarFire™ 7000 Receiver to their Gator™ when ordering/purchasing or they can use their display and StarFire™ receiver from their other equipment.
What capabilities does AutoTrac™ enable a new John Deere Gator™ to have?
John Deere Gator™ Utility Vehicles are regularly used to help with projects in fields like grid sampling and spraying. Adding AutoTrac™ to your Gator™ will help increase both efficiency and productivity in everyday jobs around your operation. When it comes to boundaries, utilize previous field boundaries you've already created in the tractor, sprayer, or combine, or use the off-season to develop your field boundary lines to utilize in-season. By using John Deere AutoTrac™ history and information from your tractor, combine, or sprayer with your Gator™, you can unlock more functionality and versatility across your operation in your off-season Gator™ work.
What are other features new to the 2023 John Deere Gator™ lineup?
The option of AutoTrac™ Ready is not the only new thing for the 2023 John Deere Gators™. Black vinyl bench seats come straight from the factory for all E- and M-trim models. R-trim models have options between stone cloth or black vinyl bench seats, and all Signature Edition models feature a genuine leather bench seat.
Outside of bench seat options, there are some great features for 2023 full-size Gator Utility Vehicles that are standard and included in the base price.
